OLIVER KATZ, PRINCIPAL
Oliver grew up on Beacon Hill, spending summers swinging a hammer for a local contractor.
He began his career with Suffolk Construction, where he spent five years working in project management and business development roles in both the Boston and San Francisco offices. During his time there, he oversaw projects and pursued new work across a variety of sectors including multi-family, hospitality, office, retail, and life-science.
The next five years were spent working for Boylston Properties, a real estate development firm in Boston, where he took on various roles including permitting and leasing, project management, and property and asset management.
During Oliver’s time there, he worked on several projects including Arsenal Yards, a mixed-use development comprising 250K SF of retail, 300 apartment units, and 400K SF of life-science space in Watertown; CityPlace, a fully stabilized 50K SF urban shopping center located in Boston’s Theater District; the Marriott Residence Inn, a 175-key hotel in the Fenway neighborhood; and the oversight of 40K SF of active retail space in nearby suburb, Needham.
Oliver has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy from Hobart College, and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development + Design from the University of California, Berkeley.
He holds a Construction Supervisor License (Unrestricted, MA), a Real Estate Salesperson License (MA), is a LEED Green Associate, and is OSHA 30 Certified.
With a long-standing and deep desire to integrate his interests in the development, hospitality, and design fields, Oliver launched Pamet Group in 2023.
